North American Lighthouse Recipe Book

Its goal is to be both a decor piece and a cookbook. The book includes a description of a region in North America, then discusses a few lighthouses and multiple recipes associated with each one.

One of the main challenges I faced with this project lied in establishing a consistent hierarchy throughout the book. There are many sections within sections, and there are both informational and anecdotal body copy.

The primary font I chose is Bely Display, and the secondary font is Futura Pt. I wanted to use fonts with character but still maintain readability - when I’m cooking, I need to be able to glance at the page and find the information I need.
